Itinerary

Day 1

Join the cruise and visit North Male’ Atoll

Welcome on board the dhoni at the Airport. After settling into your cabins, the captain or one of our crew members will go through all the safety aspects of the tour. Cruise South from the airport and head to South Male’ surf spots. It will take about 2 hours to reach the first break, a long left-hander called Tucky Joes which breaks on an open reef with no shelter from any winds. If you are lucky it might be off shore and you could straight away jump in and enjoy this break. If not we continue 15 to 30 more minutes and reach a righthander called Quarters breaking off an Island nearby. This break is preferred by long-boarders and beginners as the peak of this wave breaks very softly. Enjoy this surf for the day. Night anchor at Gulhi Lagoon.

Day 2

Foxys & Rip Tides

Early morning cruise south for about 45 minutes to reach the surf break called Foxys, a fast left-hander breaking off on a local island called Guraidhoo, and just across the channel a minute away a small right-hander called Rip Tides. Surf till lunchtime. Start cruising south and try to make it to Felidhoo Goni in Vaavu Atoll that day. Night anchor at Felidhoo Goni.

Day 3

Surf at Meemu Atoll

Start cruising south early in the morning and cruise for about 4 to 5 hours to reach the surf spots in Meemu Atoll. The first spot you will come across is a left-hander called Veyvah, breaking on a reef of a local Island. Check the conditions and go for a surf before lunchtime. After lunchtime across the channel about 10 minutes away there are two right-handers breaking off on the reef of a local island called Mulah. The outside section is a very barreling wave and it breaks on a shallow reef. The inside section is similar but safer than the outside section. How far the wave breaks out depends on the swell. Surf until 5pm and make your way to anchor the boat for the night to Muli lagoon which is about 45 minutes away. Night anchor at Muli.

Day 4

Mushroom & F1, Meemu Atoll

Start cruising in the early morning to the surf break on Muli Island. Muli Island has 2 surf breaks on it. The outside section is called Mushrooms and it’s a long slow right-hander. The inside section is called F1, a fast Indo like right-hander with a good barrel when it’s big. Choose whichever wave you want to surf for the rest of the day. Start cruising at 5:30 to anchor the boat for the night at Muli Lagoon. Night anchor at Muli.

Day 5

Surf at Meemu & back to Vaavu Atoll

Start cruising early in the morning and have a good session either at Mushrooms or F1. After breakfast cruise to Mullah and have a surf session there till lunchtime. If you prefer the left-hander Veyvah you can surf there as well. After Lunch, cruise back north to Vaavu Atoll. Approximately 4 hours to get there and Night anchor at Felidhoo Goni.

Day 6

Back to South Male

Early in the morning we start cruising back to South Male’ Atoll. You will arrive around 9:30 To Foxys and Rip Tides, surf there till lunch time. Cruise back up to Quarters for an evening session. Night anchor in Gulhi lagoon.

Day 7

North Male & Farewell Dinner

Early morning starts cruising to North Male’ Atoll surf breaks. It will be about 3 hours. You will arrive at the longest right-hander called Jails in North Male’ Atoll. Have a good session before lunchtime. Cruise to the next island just across the channel which is 5 minutes from Jail Breaks. The island consists of two world-class surf breaks. A left-hander called Honkeys with 3 sections breaking off the left side of the Island. On the other side the famous Sultans, a mellow right-hander which has 3 sections and some days all gets connected and it’s a long ride. You can choose whichever break is best to surf depending on the condition. Once anchored in Hulhumale’ lagoon, there will be an optional Male’ city walking tour available for those who perhaps would like to stretch their legs. This night our crew members will prepare a very special Maldivian local dinner for your farewell. Night anchor at Hulhumale’.
